--INF Drew Sutton was sent to the Reds to complete a late spring trade that sent INF Jeff Keppinger to the Astros. Sutton, a No. 15 draft pick in 2004, was sent to Class AAA Louisville.
--OF Darnell McDonald and OF Laynce Nix both made the team out of spring training as non-roster invitees. Both are extra outfielders/pinch-hitters, both hitting from the left side. --RHP David Weathers, 39, became the 20th player in major league history to pitch in 900 games when he pitched against the Brewers on Tuesday night. Weathers remains the team's setup man for closer Francisco Cordero.
