--1B Joey Votto (24) and RF Jay Bruce (21) combined to hit 45 homers, the most by two rookies on one team in the majors this year. --RHP Aaron Harang and RHP Bronson Arroyo had the team's only two complete games, tying the club record for least complete games (2). It was the fourth time the team has had only two complete games.
--LHP Jeremy Affeldt led the team with 74 relief appearances, tying his career high set last year. He finished the season without giving up an earned run in his last seven appearances. He is a free agent whom the Reds probably will try to re-sign.
--C/INF/OF Wilkin Castillo started fast after his September call-up from Class AAA Louisville and soon had two consecutive three-hit games, but he finished the season in a 1-for-19 slump.
